Sex Therapy
Sex therapy is a subspeciality of talk therapy that addresses a number of concerns related to sexual health, such as sexual functioning, the sexual relationship with self and others, sexual orientation, and gender identity. Sex therapy can be sought as either a couple or individually to address these concerns.
Humans are sexual beings, yet the topic of sex can be filled with anxiety, embarrassment, and even shame. Barriers to sexual health can include worry about upsetting partners, struggle communicating needs and desires, or questioning what is “normal.” Relational & Sexual Health Initiative creates a supportive, non-judgmental space that promotes exploration, curiosity, and new insights and growth with renewed connection and intimacy.
